Are you prices negotiable?

Unfortunately, we are not able to lower our prices. They are already up to 90% off. However, we offer frequent promotions and coupons, so please sign up for our promotional emails and Facebook page to find out about the most current deals and  be able to take advantage of additional discounts.

How do you price your items?

We try to price items high enough to cover our operating costs, but low enough to provide great value to our customers. Our pricing is based on several factors such as age, brand, style and condition.

Can I submit an item for inclusion in GALLERIA?

Yes, you can be a part of Modaville galleria. We are looking for new & creative products to add to our galleria. If you are the creator of unique apparel, jewelry, artwork, home furnishings, gift ware or accessories and would like to introduce them to the world, please contact us.

We have created the Modaville galleria to provide a retail environment from which independent businesses, small retailers, start-up designers, artists and artisans can successfully sell their merchandise without the high costs, long-term lease commitments and staffing associated with traditional retailers.

If you would like your products to be considered for our internet store, please fill out a vendor application including sample photographs of your products. We will review your application and contact you for samples. Please make sure each item is individually labeled with your contact information and the wholesale cost. Samples will not be returned. We will notify you if your product has been selected. All samples should be sent at NO CHARGE to:

How do I know what size to order?

Modaville wants to ensure your items arrive with a perfect fit! Please refer to our size charts and our approximate measurements/dimensions for most of our items on the product page.

Can my order be picked up?

To save on shipping costs of our local customers, we do offer local customers an option to pick up their orders. from our location. Your order will be ready for pickup within 2 days of purchase. Once your order is processed, we will contact you via e-mail to schedule the date and time of the pickup. Orders may be picked up at our location at 6500 W. Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638.

How can I sell on Modaville?

We, at Modaville, understand that a large portion of closets are filled with great clothing that just doesn’t get worn anymore. This is where we come in. With us, you can convert clothing into cash. Give your clothes a second chance and put money in your pocket. List your items on Modaville pay no fees to us.

How much does it cost to sell on Modaville?

Modaville charges 0% fee on all sold items.

What brands can I sell?

Please refer to our approved Brands List for up-to-date information on the brands you can sell on Modaville. Our brands list is constantly expanding, so check back often. If your brand is not listed, contact us, and we may add it to our list.

What can I sell?

Currently, we accept women’s clothing and accessories from customers in the United States. We hope to expand the program to other categories and countries in the future.

You are ready to sell.

Once you’ve gathered your new or gently used designer clothes or accessories that you no longer wear, sell them on Modaville and cash in!  Follow these ABC steps and list your items.

Age – Less than 5 years old — the newer the better

Brand – Please review our list of accepted brands to be sure we accept the labels you are selling. See our approved Brands List.

Condition – Make sure all items are freshly dry-cleaned or laundered. They should be in great condition (no holes, stains and other defects)

What payout methods do you provide to sellers?

At this time, we offer four choices for sell payouts: PayPal, company check, Modaville store credit or Contribution to a Group. To choose your payout type, just go to YOUR ACCOUNT page and set it up in your SELLER PROFILE. You can change it any time, and it will apply towards your future sells. These are your options:

  1. Your earned payout can be applied towards your purchases from Modaville as a credit. Choosing this option, you earn an extra 25% bonus to your payout. Your credit will appear at Checkout.
  2. Cash out via PayPal. The money will go straight to your PayPal account, minus any fees PayPal charges for the transaction.
  3. Contribute your payout to your Group. Once your item sells, your funds will be transferred to your designated Group.
When is my item available for sell?

Once you publish your item, it becomes available for sell immediately. You can publish it for immediate sell or list it as a draft and publish it for sell whenever you are ready. After it is published, we will make sure that your item fits our standards, if your photos are of a high quality, if the product description is clear and accurate and if your suggested selling price is in line with the item’s re-sale value. If your item does not meet these requirements, we will contact you and recommend the changes to your listing.

Shipping & handling

How quickly do you ship once a purchase is made?

Once we receive your payment, your order will be shipped within 48 hours and delivered in 2-9 days. Modaville will also email you a tracking number once your package is shipped.

Can I purchase multiple items and qualify for free shipping?

Bundling is a simple way of purchasing more than one item. We will package and ship all of the bundled items in one box for free.

Do you offer free shipping?

No matter what or how much you buy, the shipping is on us. Take advantage of this free shipping offer.

What is your shipping charge?

All Modaville orders are shipped via USPS First Class, Priority Mail or Ground Shipping for free. Order one item or multiple items, and the shipping is on us.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we’re only able to ship to US addresses. However, we may be able to ship internationally, if you contact us before making an order. We will contact a shipping company to find out the cost of the shipment. If you agree to it, we will ship it after your payment is made.

Coupons & gift cards

Do you offer gift cards?

We currently do not have gift cards available for purchase.

How many times can I use your coupons?

Unless otherwise specified, coupons are for multiple use.

How do I enter my coupon code.

Coupon codes can be used on the Checkout page when you’re making a purchase. Make sure that the code is typed in correctly. If you’re still running into trouble, email us at modaville@hotmail.com so that we can help you out!

Login issues

I don't remember my password. How can I reset it?

When you’re at the sign in screen, you’ll see a link that says “Forgot Password?” right next to the “Sign In” button. Just click this and it will email you a password reset code.

I can't log into my account, and I'm not receiving your password reset emails.

First, check your spam folder, as our emails do sometimes sneak in there instead of your inbox. If you still can’t find it, make sure you’re checking the same email account you used to register with us. If that doesn’t solve it, feel free to contact us at info@modaville.com.

How do I change my email address?

To modify your email address, just visit your Account page and go to the PASSWORD AND EMAIL TAB.

Can I create multiple accounts?

At this time, we only allow one account per customer. If a user is found to have multiple accounts, this may result in order cancellation, removal of credit and/or account banning at the discretion of Modaville.

Returns & Exchanges

Full-Refund Returns within 14 days.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell if you’ll love an item until you try it on. If a purchase doesn’t work out for any reason, just send it back within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Your return must be postmarked within 14 days of receipt to be eligible for a refund. The item must be in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, and with all tags/accessories attached – handbags sent with the manufacturer dust bag returned as well). Please note, we do not accept returns for orders that are purchased on a Final Sale or items that were in the Clearance section.

How do I initiate my refund?

To return an item, send it back to us within 14 days of delivery in its original condition. We do not provide the shipping label. Just take it to the nearest Post Office and use the same USPS shipping method. Once we receive it, we will process the refund to you immediately.

How will I know when my refund has been issued?

Once we receive your refund, you will receive a refund confirmation email to let you know.

I used a coupon when I originally paid for my purchase. Will I be able to re-use it if I make a return?

Look for coupon restrictions if any. Our coupons are for multiple use unless otherwise specified.

I used store credit when I made my purchase. Will I get this back if I make a return?

Yes. Store credit never expires and is always refunded should you make a return. However, it cannot be cashed out or converted into any other payment forms.

What happens if I buy something with a final sale coupon and it's defective?

Any item purchased using a final sale coupon or from the clearance section cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.
